Cortex’s New Advisor is a Prominent Voice in New York Commercial Real Estate

Nashville, TN – February 20, 2024 Cortex Building Intelligence, renowned for its AI-driven decarbonization solution designed for commercial real estate, revealed the latest addition to its Advisory Board – Bruce Mosler, a formative figure in the New York real estate sector. He joins high-profile industry leaders like Nick Bienstock, CEO and Co-founder of Savanna Fund, Bill Landis, Managing Partner at Raith Capital Partners, Mitch Konsker, Vice-Chairman of JLL, and Adam Spies, Co-Head of U.S. Capital Markets at Newmark to provide ongoing insight and guidance to Cortex in tackling one of the most pressing problems the industry faces – decarbonization.

The Advisory Board’s expertise will help guide Cortex’s work and perspective on emerging trends, especially as it relates to the achievement of ESG goals. For example, they will help Cortex understand how the governance gap in commercial real estate shapes the efficacy of ESG programs and impacts the ability to make change at the building level.

“Decarbonizing buildings is one of the largest challenges and opportunities of our generation,” said Bryan Bennett, CEO and Founder of Cortex Building Intelligence. “We curate our Advisory Board very deliberately for depth and breadth of experience, commercial acumen, and a deep commitment to addressing this challenge. We are thrilled to add Bruce Mosler’s thought leadership and extraordinary amount of experience to our business.”

Bruce Mosler is the Chairman of Global Brokerage at Cushman & Wakefield. One of the most recognizable names in New York, Bruce has been a prominent leader at Cushman & Wakefield for over 20 years, executing deals that have shaped the fabric of New York City.

“In New York City, and cities across the country, commercial real estate is evolving, from the pandemic’s initial impact on the workforce’s presence in a traditional office, to the return to office, and to new legislation regarding carbon reduction efforts. The needs within CRE are changing, and it’s why I’m happy to be joining the advisory board at Cortex,” said Bruce Mosler, Chairman of Global Brokerage at Cushman and Wakefield.

The Advisory Board will help Cortex answer the question that is on the mind of every commercial real estate executive right now – how do I meet my ESG commitments?
